How has your education prepared you for your current or intended career? Do you wish you had taken a different path academically? Would you consider transferring or going back to school?

I actually am back in school. I have been hit hard by the economy so I've decided to go back for Pharmacy Tech in hopes of securing a job that pays well.  I hope it works out. It is a totally different career for me.   I have worked as a makeup artist for over twenty years.

THANKS!

Hey, just wanted to thank those of you here for coming out to the alley last night to see Patrick Hare. I know that some of you had to travel a bit just to sit out in a hot alley last night.  I truly appreciate it, although I'm sure it was worth your while because Patrick Hare read some really cool poetry!

Make  sure to catch him  Tuesday August 11th at GCC where it will be much cooler inside.

Does anyone know of anyone hiring anywhere or of a good resource for career counseling.  I am tired of renting in salons. Actually I'm tired of the whole salon industry at this point.

I know I'm not highly educated, but I also know that I'm not stupid and I can do something. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know.  Please just don't tell me about food service positions. I'm no good in the kitchen.

Thanks,
Dani

I will be reading my erotic poetry at Alwun House this Friday July 3rd between acts.
I will be dressed in a  black lace corset and a skirt. I'm not sure if this is a selling point or not.
I'm just saying I'll have clothes on. I won't be wearing the pasties.

Oh Dear Farrrah Fawcett
You'll be missed by all

You were that seventies Icon
we hung on the wall

You left many young girls
admiring your locks

While many young boys
were left rubbing their cocks

Biding Time

Biding Time

He sits there looking at her while he sips his drink
wishing with every swallow it was she he was drinking

She is all that he wants

The way she smiles, the way her neck curves and  her
hair falls around her shoulders

Even the way she turns her head

All of  these things always take his breath away

She is fighting with her alcoholic husband again

He watches as she raises her glass
slowly to her sensuous lips and takes a sip of her drink

Dreamily he watches her swallow

He would die...to be consumed by her

He wants to take her pain away,
pull her close to him, kiss her all over
Love her the way she should be loved

He longs to enter her slowly and gently
while hearing her softly sigh

With his every thrust he wants to convey
It is he who loves her, it is he she should be with...

but for now

he plays the part of the dutiful friend

Always there to listen, to lean on
Always there with that shoulder to cry on

All the while, he secretly waits

for the demise

of one

of  his closest

friends

I think I should send this to Hallmark with the caption-  Question:  What part of the bunny do you start to eat first?

Answer:  Why the ears of Course!  Oops, looks like Peter Cottontail just hopped his last bunny trail!

Happy Easter Kids!

This is real.  Mark took this photo around 5:30 this morning around the end of his shift.  It was a pretty large rabbit too.
You can tell from the tire that's in the pic.

I just found out this evening that Shirley Jones (Partridge family mom) at age seventy five is going to be posing for Playboy.  I say good for you Shirley.

There are plenty of older men that I think will enjoy looking at you on the pages  of  Playboy magazine.

Here is a Haiku I think may capture the sentiment :

                                                                                                                                  At Seventy five
                                                                                                                                  Shirley Jones is in Playboy
                                                                                                                                  Old cooch for old coots.
